Our Legal & Ethical Covenant
Because clarity and respect are at the core of our blue & yellow philosophy — your rights, your privacy, and your pet’s wellbeing always come first. Below you’ll find our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookies Policy unified with the warmth of our atelier.
📋 Terms of Service – Iridescent Paw Atelier
Welcome to Iridescent Paw Atelier (“IPA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing our website, booking services (grooming, boarding, daycare, training, wellness), or engaging with any of our physical or virtual offerings, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully — they reflect our blue & yellow commitment: clarity (blue) and joyful cooperation (yellow).
1. Scope of Services
IPA provides professional pet care including but not limited to: fear-free grooming, overnight boarding, daycare enrichment, behavior consultations, hydrotherapy, nutrition planning, and pet first aid. All services are delivered by certified, trained professionals. We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet shows signs of aggressive behavior that may compromise safety, or if required vaccinations are not current. Our team follows low-stress handling protocols aligned with Fear Free® standards.
2. Booking & Cancellation Policy
All appointments require a valid credit card on file. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled service incur no fee. Cancellations within 24–48 hours incur a 50% service charge. No-shows or same-day cancellations (less than 24 hours) are charged 100% of the service fee. For boarding reservations, a non-refundable deposit of 30% applies during peak holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year). We understand emergencies happen — please contact us directly, and we will work compassionately with you.
3. Health & Vaccination Requirements
All pets must be up-to-date on rabies, DHPP/Distemper, and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines for dogs; FVRCP and rabies for cats. Proof of vaccination is required prior to first service. If external parasites (fleas/ticks) are detected, we will administer a gentle, safe treatment at the owner’s expense. We strongly recommend routine flea/tick prevention. If a pet becomes ill during boarding, we will attempt to contact the owner and, if necessary, seek veterinary care at owner’s expense. IPA maintains a strict “no aggression” handling policy and will prioritize safety at all times.
4. Liability & Photo Release
While we take every precaution, pet care involves inherent risks. You agree that IPA is not liable for injuries resulting from pre-existing medical conditions, allergic reactions, or unforeseen animal behavior that does not arise from our negligence. We maintain comprehensive liability insurance. By using our services, you grant IPA permission to take photographs/videos of your pet for social media, marketing, or educational purposes, unless you explicitly opt out in writing. We will never share identifying owner information without consent.
5. Payment & Refunds
We accept major credit cards, digital wallets, and cash. Payment is due at time of service unless pre-arranged. Refunds for dissatisfaction are considered case-by-case; we offer re-dos or partial refunds when service does not meet our published standards. No refunds for partially used boarding stays.
6. Website & Intellectual Property
All content on this website (text, graphics, logos, images, enrichment protocols) is the exclusive property of Iridescent Paw Atelier. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any materials without prior written permission.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Harmony Hills County unless otherwise agreed. For urgent questions: legal@iridescentpaw.com or call +1 (888) 472-9264.
By booking or visiting our facility, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms of Service.
